Arriving by Car and Parking in Cesky Krumlov

As mentioned on the Infocentrum´s Cesky Krumlov website, the historical UNESCO center is a pedestrian area. Vehicles are not allowed in the center of town unless they have a special permit. When you arrive in Cesky Krumlov, enter the town center (please see map below) via Objizdkova and Horni Streets and look for the Infocentrum on the right side when you enter the Main Square. Then park in front of the Infocentrum in a non reserved space. You can show the town policemen the reservation receipt we will send you by e-mail if he approaches you. Put the reservation receipt on top of your dashboard under the windshield so the police will not give you a ticket while you are going to our reception office.
At check-in you will receive a detailed map of the town. You will be also given a card confirming that you are our guest going to the guarded parking lot. After parking your car in the guarded lot, be sure to visit the Infocentrum, mentioned above and located on the northeast corner of the Main Square to the right of the Town Hall and police station. Off season the Infocentrum's hours are 9:00 to 17:00 each day. On Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, they close from 13:00 until 14:00; during high season their opening hours are usually longer. The helpful staff which speaks several languages has computers for checking email, a booking service for cultural activities and city tours, large posters with bus and train schedules, and detailed information including room photos about local hotels, pensions, hostels, etc. Naturally we hope you will ignore this last past of their services. In the back of the Infocentrum is a gift shop with postcards, maps, travel books, phone cards, etc.
After checking in, leave the main square via Kajovska and Linecka Streets, turn right on Tavirna, and then turn left on Objizdkova. Follov signs P2 to the parking lot number 2. Drive north for about 550 meters once you pass the gasoline filling station on the right side. Just before you cross the Vltava River again, turn right on U Poraku. Then make a quick turn to the left as this same road goes under the main highway and crosses the river. After you cross the river on a small bridge, turn left to the brewery Eggenberg. Give the card to the guard and enter the brewery with your car. All of our guests have free parking for one vehicle per apartment for each day they stay with us.
